Durban

Durban is the largest city in KwaZulu-Natal. With its warm subtropical climate, vast beaches and its Golden Mile, providing ample entertainment, this city has always been a very popular holiday destination.

Kwazulu-Natal (KZN for short) abounds in natural beauty and a rich cultural. The province boasts two World Heritage sites. The Greater St Lucia Wetland Park has five distinct ecosystems and a unique biodiversity found nowhere else on earth. St Lucia offers everything from Big 5 game viewing, gorgeous beaches and some of the best snorkelling and scuba diving in the country.

UKhahlamba Drakensberg Park is another amazing KZN attraction of exceptional natural beauty, where Stone Age cave paintings can be found. Hundreds of hiking trails criss-cross the park and there is horseback riding, mountain biking and quad biking. You can also join a 3-day guided hike right into the heart of the Drakensberg.
